A Schiedmayer jewel found in a convent
Only a few years ago, Pastor Jaap Spaans found a giant Schiedmayer harmonium at the organ loft of Juliana Klooster at Heiloo in the Netherlands. First of all the giant stoplist:

Remarks:
- White stopfaces indicate the ranks in the main chest, the horizontal chest; Pink stopfaces indicate the vertical secondary chest, above the main chest.
- The vertical chest is fitted with the Dawes Melody Attachment.
- The vertical chest is playable as a normal harmonium. It is in fact a second division without a keyboard. It is activated by the Copula stop.
- The Dawes Melody Attachement is activated by the stop Melodie in treble and Pedal Bass in the bass.
- P = Pedalbass 16 (Adds Pedalnote to bass, lowest note only of the ranks in the vertical windchest and 16' ranks (Violincell or Bombard, both C-H.)
- M = Melodie (Adds Melodieflöte 8’ to treble, highest note only !)
- Melodie attachment and Melodieflöte are two separate stops.
- Copula = couples the vertical wind chest to the keyboard.
- Aeolusharfe 2 is a double row, according to Rhiem 1887
- Forte bas en discant (pink stops, back rows)
- Forte bas en discant (white stops, front rows)
- Kniehebeln für Doppel Expression
- Kniehebel für Expression forte (Forté Expressif) (with fixation and release, see pictures)
- Transpositeur (15 keys = C-d)
- ** = According to Rhiem, Bombard is 16 in C-H and breaks to 32 at c – e1 (Rhiem, dutch editon, p. 13)
- Italic names are mechanical stops

The instrument has been on the organ loft for over 50 years now. It is hardly ever played, but a recent visit by pastor Spaans, showed the instrument is in a rather good condition.
